BLC plants 13,000 acres in wheat, barley, and pulses (dry peas, lentils, and garbanzo beans) each year. They run 700 head of cattle on 15,000 acres of range land and grow their own hay They have 5,000 acres of timberland on the Robinson Fork of the Touchet River, which they summer graze. Their selective methods of timber harvest thins the forest for fire danger and overpopulation, which also promotes good growth.

Northwest Grain Growers is a farmer-owned cooperative operating in Washington and Oregon. The organization was established in 1929 as Walla Walla Grain Growers. In 1998, WWGG merged with Touchet Valley Grain Growers creating Northwest Grain Growers. NWGG has continued to expand with the merger of Columbia Country Grain Growers in 2016 followed by the merger with Whitgro in 2018.
Today the cooperative serves over 2,000 members by selling certified seed and providing grain handling and marketing services. Northwest Grain Growers handles over forty million bushels of grain, sells over two million bushels of certified seed.
